Spain Probe Into Terror Attacks, Trump Was Right About General Pershing According To Pershing Himself

Spanish police continued their search for the man behind the vehicular assault on Barcelona’s Las Ramblas promenade that took 13 lives and injured an additional 100. The incident became the worst terrorist attack on Spanish soil since the 2004 Metro Bombings.

Investigators now believe there were at least eight Muslims tied to Thursday’s plot. There was an incident Wednesday night as one Muslim was killed in a house in Alcanar. On Thursday the van, driven by a Moroccan-born Muslim immigrant, rammed into the crowd and a car ran over two officers in Barcelona later that day. The driver of the van got away.

An attack was thwarted early Friday south of the city in which bombs were detonated when a police officer shot four Muslims. The attacks were coordinated to a level similar in sophistication to major strikes in Paris and Brussels in recent years. This wasn’t a lone wolf, but meditated incidents led by a group.

CNN’s Don Lemon and other commentators decided to marginally cover the incident instead linking it to the incidents in Charlottesville as on the same plane while criticizing the President.

ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attacks in Barcelona saying through State-media that the attackers were “soldiers of the Islamic State.”

King Felipe, the Spanish head of state, led a moment’s silence at Barcelona’s Plaça de Catalunya. Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy called the Barcelona attack “jihadi terrorism,” declaring three days of mourning across Spain.

President Donald Trump tweeted his sentiments to the people of Spain. He also criticized the federal courts in the U.S. for working to oppose his agenda rather than working to protect the lives of Americans from Islamic extremism.

General Pershing

The media has ardently attacked the President for tweeting a story about how General John Pershing, a decorated WWI General and Senior Officer, while in the Philippines dipped bullets in pigs blood and shot 49 of 50 Moro people (Radical Islamic sect) and told the 50th person to tell the story to his fellow tribesman.

Ingestion of pork is against the Islamic faith and those that consume are destined for hell. When the bullets hit the Moro killing them, according to their faith, they would not inherit Allah’s kingdom. Pershing then buried them to rest next to a dead pig.

The media has scorned the President for his claims, to which he also told during his 2016 campaign rallies to a crowd of his supporters. The media called these claims ‘debunked’ ‘false’ and ‘irresponsible.’

Though there was no proof of the incidence ever taking place, General John Pershing himself wrote of this encounters in his own autobiography which went unpublished until a discovery in 2010.

“These juramentado attacks were materially reduced in number by a practice the Army had already adopted, one that the Mohammedans held in abhorrence: The bodies were publicly buried in the same grave with a dead pig. It was not pleasant to have to take such measures but the prospect of going to hell instead of heaven sometimes deterred the would-be assassins.”

So there are two options. Believe the same media conglomerates that devotes 93 percent of their coverage attacking the President or the words of General John Pershing himself.

You decide.
