Sandy Hook denier arrested after making threats to victims’ families
Police arrested Lucy Richards for threatening the parent of a child killed in the 2012 school shooting. Richards has been indicted on four counts of transmitted threats. Richards send Lenny Pozner sent four messages warning him of his imminent death.
“death is coming to you real soon and there’s nothing you can do about it,” one message said.
Richards, 57, could serve up to 20 years in prison and is scheduled to appear before a judge in Fort Lauderdale on December 19. The indictment comes just days before the four-year anniversary of when gunman Adam Lanza stormed the Newtown elementary school and gunned down 20 children and six adults.
Lanza, who murdered his mother before the massacre, then fatally shot himself. Twenty children and six adults died in the Sandy Hook School shooting in Dec. 2012. Pozner moved to South Florida following the shooting, it remains unclear whether Pozner knew Richards in any way.
