French authorities warn of waking terrorist sleeper cells
Law enforcement officers in France are now working at erasing their social media presence as well as carrying their weapons at all times. News officials in France on Saturday report that French intelligence officials have learned that terror sleeper cells have become active in the last 24 hours. The suspect killed during the kosher market hostage siege, Ahmedly Coulibaly made several phone calls threatening police officers according to CNN. On Saturday, a French magazine reported that the two brothers responsible for the Charlie Hebdo attack had been monitored by French authorities but ignored red flags and eventually lost interest in them.
The alert came as the last remaining suspect in connection with the terrorism spree Hayat Boumeddiene entered Turkey last week according to KFOR News. Boumeddiene is believed to have left for Turkey “of course to reach Syria” at the beginning of the year. If that turns out to be true, it would mean Boumeddiene was not in France at the time of the deadly shooting of a police officer in Paris. Saturday brought a long list of developments into the spotlight. Read More at Examiner.com
