The White House administration of “Transparency”
White House continues to claim they are “Transparent”
President Obama has continually declared his presidency the most transparent ever. However, we have learned that to be false. Press Secretary Josh Earnest stood by the claim that Obama’s administration is “the most transparent in history.”
“I have a responsibility in this job to help the president live up to his commitment to be the most transparent president in history.” – Press. Sec Josh Earnest
Townhall.com’s Katie Pavlich disagrees with that statement. During Fox News’s America’s Newsroom, cited a Political Magazine survey that found that half of White House correspondents and reporters believed the administration had lied to them, in addition to a recent letter from multiple journalism organizations, including The New York Times and The Washington Post, calling out the Obama administration on a lack of access.
Pavlich believes that Obama is trying to sugarcoat everything and make us believe everything is wonderful; as opposed to answering the tough questions. “They’ve done the opposite of what Josh Earnest has said,” Pavlich stated. “Barack Obama is not transparent. The White House is not transparent. We’re six years into this and I doubt that with the two years left, we’re going to see any more transparency than we’ve already seen.”
President Obama has not shown a smidgen of transparency. He never admitted to what really happened in Benghazi, never answered why members of a Mexican drug cartel murdered Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry. Still hasn’t explained and held anyone accountable for the IRS’s targeting of conservative voters. I agree with my friend Katie and believe that Obama has no reason to start being transparent now, since he only has two years left.
